This is a Mino ware sake bottle (tokkuri).

Although simple in design, the navy blue line that evokes the "Japan Blue" is particularly striking.

This sake bottle is recommended for those who want to enjoy Japanese sake.

Please note that there may be slight variations in appearance and texture from piece to piece. Thank you for your understanding.

Mino ware originated during the Momoyama period, alongside the rise of the tea ceremony, and is primarily produced in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. It was particularly cherished by tea masters during the birth of Japan's wabi-sabi culture. Notable types of Mino ware include the refined pale yellow "Kizeto," the glossy jet-black "Setoguro," the soft milky-white "Shino ware," and the uniquely green-patterned "Oribe ware." Today, Mino ware accounts for more than half of all porcelain tableware produced in Japan.
