Mino ware, which began during the Momoyama period, is primarily produced in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. The representative colors of Mino ware include the refined pale yellow of Kizeto, the glossy black of Setoguro, the soft, milky white of Shino ware, and the distinctive green hues of Oribe ware. Today, Mino ware accounts for over half of Japan's domestic porcelain tableware production.
