While the design is simple, with an indigo stripe pattern on a white background, the shape has a distinctive warped appearance. The upturned shape looks like a small Mt.

Although it is a bowl, noodle dishes will surely look good on it. Enjoy Japanese food by serving ramen or other dishes!

This is Shigaraki ware. Shigaraki ware is a pottery produced mainly in the area around Koga County, Shiga Prefecture. Shigaraki is good at making large ceramics, and in the past, hibachi (brazier) was often made. In modern times, flowerpots, vases, and washbasins are also produced in large quantities. Shigaraki ware is also famous throughout Japan and the world for its raccoon dog figurines.
