Mino ware, originating during the Momoyama period, is produced mainly in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. The characteristic colors of Mino ware include the delicate pale yellow of Kizeto, the lustrous black of Setoguro, the creamy white of Shino ware, and the distinctive green motifs of Oribe ware.
